She learned to milk cows and goats, herd cattle, feed pigs and chickens, pluck poultry, and even collect beetles from potato fields.
Yet her biggest dream wasn’t just to be talented — it was to be known and to serve others through her gifts.
In Ukrainian tradition, as in many cultures, women are often expected to marry and raise children. But Alita believes that a self-sufficient, self-actualized woman is far happier. A woman who knows her worth, who can walk away when something no longer serves her, who doesn’t settle for less — that is a powerful woman.
