TaniA Kyllikki has remained a rising British singer and songwriter, who has been named as one of the “Top Ten Women Revolutionising Their Fields” on MSN and has been charted in the Top 100 worldwide independent charts. She is no stranger to the world of music. Thus far in her career, she has only been on an upward growth trend, winning several accolades, charting hits and a deeply devoted fan base. Despite facing numerous challenges, including health battles and personal challenges, she kept moving ahead with her resilience and passion for music to push boundaries in the industry. With multiple single releases planned this year and her highly anticipated second album “Free-Spirited” on the horizon, 2025 promises to be one of her biggest years yet.
We sat TaniA Kyllikki down for a tête-à-tête to discuss her musical journey.
You have had an incredible journey in music. What inspired you to pursue this career?
Everything began for me at the age of two. I loved to sing along to music when my mother played her old school albums. Etta James’ song AT LAST was one of those. Growing up, songwriting came into the picture. I began writing my songs as a kid, and in my early teens, I would save money to go to the studios and record. I entered varied talent competitions, was on television, and performed at the 02 arena.
Tell us more about your upcoming single, I Am Good Enough, from your second album, Free-Spirited.
Well, “I Am Good Enough” is a song about self-love and confidence. In the past, I have struggled with self-doubt, and I am sure there are many others who go through the same. This song reminds you to believe in yourself, embrace your uniqueness, and know you are enough just as you are. It is a deeply personal track, and I hope it empowers those who listen to it. It is all set to release on April 9, 2025, and I hope listeners and music lovers give it as much love as they have given to my other songs or even more.
Your track “I Struck Gold With You” received massive love and attention from music lovers, with its music video receiving over two million views. How did it feel?
It was surreal, I would say. Seeing the song resonate so well with so many people was incredibly heartwarming. The response has been overwhelming, and I am so grateful to everyone who connected with it.
Feel Good Vibes also made waves, ranking high on independent charts. How do you feel about its success?
This song has been all about bringing joy and positivity to people. I wanted listeners to feel uplifted and empowered. Watching it make it to number four on the Top Sounds Indie Rankings and later climb to number fifteen on the worldwide independent charts was beyond my expectations.
Tell us more about “Why Chapter One: Rebirthed 2025.”
My first album, Why Chapter One, was an important part of my musical journey. With Rebirthed 2025, I am bringing back some of those songs but with a unique touch. There will also be some previously unheard tracks, which I am excited to share with my fans. It is my way of giving back to those who have supported me through everything. My husband Rynellton and I will be releasing the album as a thank you note to fans.
